Anyone surf with T1D that’s not on long acting?

I’m using the Medtronic 780g/Instinct sensor set up so figuring out the best strategy…assuming it’s too risky to take the pump out there.

I typically go pretty low during exercise so I am thinking start with no onboard insulin and keep my sesh under an hour. Hate that the instinct won’t connect to my Apple Watch
