Hi everyone,

I'm a bride to be and could really use some big sister advice.

My bridal lehenga fits correctly at the waist and has both a hook and a drawstring , but the skirt is very heavy . When I wear it, it starts at the position I want (slightly above my belly button) but after walking around for a while, the weight of the skirt causes it to slip down a bit below my belly button.

It's not falling off or anything dramatic but I'd really like it to stay in place throughout the wedding events without constantly adjusting it.

Has anyone dealt with this before?

• Are there any tricks to keep a heavy lehenga sitting higher on the waist?
• Would adding extra hooks, elastic or anything inside help?
• Are there any bridal hacks you learned that made wearing a heavy lehenga easier or more comfortable?

I don't have many people around me to ask these kinds of questions, so I'd really appreciate any advice from brides, sisters, stylists or anyone with experience.
