I remember stumbling upon screenshots of these weird short horror story things on tumblr around 2014-2016 that lead me to a subreddit where people posted them.

They were sets of instructions on how to do anomalous things. Guides for interacting with paranormal/supernatural forces. highly specific and not really that scary but very interesting to me at the time.

it was like "Step 1: walk in a counter clockwise circle 33 times in front of your door, Step 2: if you hear knocking do not let them in" etc just vaguely creepy instructions, like a scp ripoff

i remember it had an impossible to remember name, just letters and numbers
