Need some advice regarding major allocation at Mithibai.
I’m an FYBA student who missed two Semester II exams due to documented medical emergencies (ICU admission for one exam and acute gastroenteritis requiring hospital treatment for another). I have submitted applications and medical documents for both cases and will be appearing for the re-examinations.
The Psychology major merit list has now been released, but since my re-exam results are not yet available, I am currently marked as not eligible for SY admission.
I’ve spoken to the HOD and college authorities, but the answer I’ve received is essentially that I need to complete the re-exams first and wait for further instructions.
Has anyone been in a similar situation where major allocation happened before re-exam results were declared?
What happened afterwards? Were you considered once the re-exam results came out, or were the seats already filled by then?
I’m mainly looking for experiences from students who had pending re-exams due to medical reasons during the allocation process.
