I swapped ascendancy today from Disciples of Varshta. Initially as a disciple I had 6k Energy Shield and I was getting one shot all the time. I tried a tier 1 map to check if I was underestimating the enemies' damage but I got one shot again by a single hit from a white monster.

I got rid of CI so I could swap to Storm weaver, I got better gear and my energy shield is now 9.7 k. I decided to try again the CI and I got again one shot by the first hit from a white mob.

Is this happening to anyone? None of my gems or passives use life to cast, neither my jewels and the flasks are normal.
