sahm - it’s draining

everyone talks about how being a sahm is the dream. i feel so alone.. i have 3 kids - a 4yr old, a 2yr old, and a 3m old.

my husband works anywhere from 12-17hrs a day, he’s home on weekends (THANK GOSH!!!) but nobody talks about how lonely, or even stressful it is to have just about ZERO adult interaction every day.

i don’t have a support system. so no family that really helps out, and none of my “friends” come to visit. i feel like im always complaining, always overstimulated, crying in the bathroom.

i miss work so much, it was nice to get a “break.” i couldn’t tell you the last time i was kid free. the most i get is my mother keeping my oldest once a blue moon. i love them all so much, and absolutely do not regret my babies please don’t think that. i just need a break…

nobody tells you how you’re going to be living the exact same routine day in and day out, every single day, 7 days a week. i even enrolled back to college just to have something new to do. i barley leave the house. i feel like i have completely lost myself to motherhood.
