I posted maybe a week ago about how I might re veneer this machine since it has every single peice it was made with. I hate to do it but walnut veneer is around 80 ish dollars and I don’t want to throw that much at it.

It has EVERY piece it came with. Hinges to little gears and nobs for the dampener.

The horn and cover is perfect along with the top cover itself its also in really good shape. Every other panel has its dings and peeling veneer. One side has no veneer since it was warped, I’ve since flattened and saved that side but it’s bare wood.

The motor has been rebuilt by myself with one new spring it works beautifully I just never got around to cleaning it. (Which I will do definitely before I ship it)

Pricing

The motor Id take no less than $70

Unsure about the arm and all the little pieces. So if you do want them shoot me an offer.

As a whole $120 I’m aware that’s high but nobody would really want the whole thing anyways.

You can message me on here, if it doesn’t work comment and I’ll message you an email.

You would have to pay for shipping as well.

I can ship and if anyone wants a more secure way of buying from far away I have an eBay account I can list it on.

And if you are close my location is central Indiana U.S.

Please let me know if you want anything! I hate to let this rot somewhere I want something out of it to be used!

I bought this Johnny Cash at an antique store for a DOLLAR. I’m aware that’s a steal it should’ve been like 20 dollars but why do people on eBay list them for hundreds more than they should go for? It seems ridiculous because even on somewhere like discogs it ranges from $20-175 at most. Price gouging? Trying to get the market up on this specific record? Or just plain stupid?
