I’ve got multiple tubs of really good mycelium, in separate containers, following separate processes (ie started on different days, in separate plastic containers, and with various types of mycelium). 

Most of them start really well, then I see loads of these tiny flies coming up. I think their eggs must be in the coco choir, it’s the only explanation I can come up with. 

I’ve been using the yellow stickers, and spraying the tubs with some insect repellent spray, but they grow so fast.. I wonder if their presence or the spray hurts the mushrooms - or makes them dangerous to eat. Any advice?
