[Partially Lost] RIKA debut EP 'TOXIC'

[Partially Lost] RIKA debut EP 'TOXIC'

Hello! I know this is likely to be quite niche, but RIKA is (was..?) an artist who became viral after posting an audition tape to her YouTube channel where she auditioned for a K-pop company. After the success of the video, she decided to really get into music more heavily (she had prior releases, but none that were released like a K-pop idol would release something), and made an EP. There are videos about it on her channel, showing photoshoots, and a highlight medley. Only issue.. the highlight medley is all we have of the songs now.

She deleted everything off of her Spotify. The Genius lyric pages are still up with annotations from her so we at least know what they would've entailed, and there are some interviews where the styles and EP themes are discussed. She's active on Instagram but has been away from YouTube for 3 years (her last video being the highlight medley). She's made small comments about making new music, but hasn't replied to anyone asking about her re-releasing the tracks.

According to my (rough) calculations based on a comment on her IG and the release of the EP, (July 29th 2022) her EP would've been taken down from Spotify after only about six weeks. A comment was also left later implying her entire Spotify was taken down not too long after just her EP was (which makes sense because the link in her YouTube bio didn't work, the deletion would've been around October 18 2023). Though her other songs are still on Soundcloud, I think TOXIC was only released onto Spotify rather than both platforms.

** Edit: My maths is horrible and, in all honesty, I don't want to try go back and fix it. I thinkkkk the EP and Spotify were actually deleted about a year after the EP released.

I dunno, I don't want to pry into her life or anything if it turns out something bad happened. Based on a Spanish reply she left to someone wanting information on her Spotify deletion, she said she's working on better music. So, she wasn't confident in the EP, I'm guessing (which is surprising because it isn't even bad!) Ofc, if she doesn't want the EP found then that's fine. I just really want to hear Genie in full :^)

Sorry for the rambling mess and the fact this is probably worded badly!
