I realize that categories become arbitrary at a certain point, and often it just comes down to what words the locals use to describe a feature, but I'm curious... What's the widest body of water that's still called "river?"
It's hard to define a riff vs a melody... And riff has strong guitar connotations. But surely, the keyboard riff in 'Sir Duke' by Stevie Wonder must be one of the coolest snippets of composed music in the twentieth century?
Obviously Celebration Day is a great choice because he played it on the organ at the Royal Albert Hall, but what about songs like "In the Light" or "No Quarter" where his keyboard lines are so iconic? Or Them Crooked Vultures? Or his bass-playing on iconic classics like "Dazed and Confused?"
