No idea where to start, but need help

First time ever posting in a Reddit thread so please be patient with me.

My LO is 13 weeks, and he does pretty well overnight. However, I’m returning to work next month and don’t want to be up 2-4 times a night when starting a new job, especially knowing the 4-month regression is around the corner.

I’ve checked this sub for advice but I am totally confused. Between wake windows and naps and sleep needs/banks, different methods, and everything else, I have no idea where to start.

We don’t really have a schedule, which I know is probably where I need to start. He’s EFF and we’re really just following his sleep cues for naps, so he takes multiple short crib naps with a few longer contact naps.

We do have a bedtime routine: bottle, bath, lotion/massage, swaddle, rest of bottle, rock/feed to sleep. He goes down anywhere between 7:30-9:00pm, and wakes up maybe 2-3 times a night. If his first stretch is 5-6hrs, I’ll give him a bottle, but if it’s only been an hour or two since we put him down, I usually go in and rock him a little to help him resettle. After the first feed, he usually gets 2-3hr stretches. We usually start our day between 7:30-8:15.

All of that to say, I have no idea where to start. He’ll be going to daycare in June once I go back to work, which means he’ll start having a DWT around 6ish.

Any and all advice is welcome, I need all the help I can get. TIA!
