Is Tutorial Dojo (TD) really needed for AZ-104?

Hi Everyone,

I really wanted to know from the community: is TD genuinely needed for AZ-104, or are hands-on practice, clear concepts and MCQs from ChatGPT and Claude enough?

Please let me know. I'm getting confused because it seems like everyone is using TD for AZ-104. I also noticed that Claude is giving me similar questions to TD.

Would really appreciate some guidance from the community.

Anyone else feel more exhausted by their manager than their actual - Part 2 workload

Hi Everyone,

Around a month ago, I made a Reddit post about my toxic manager and workplace, and I received mixed opinions. I'm seeking advice again because I'm honestly struggling to continue in this job.

I'm only staying because I need to support my aging parents, pay my room rent, and continue paying my education EMI. The stress has become so bad that I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night thinking about work.

Here are a few things I'm dealing with:

  • My manager refuses to give me access to infrastructure resources like Active Directory and Microsoft 365 Admin Portal, even though I've worked on them before.
  • Even something as simple as changing the USB port of a mouse requires his approval.
  • For months, I've only been assigned Windows installations, printer issues, and basic hardware tasks, despite having more technical knowledge.
  • I feel that if he realizes I can handle infrastructure work independently, he might see me as a threat.
  • A few previous IT guys were fired after becoming too confident. I've survived by keeping my head down and making him feel important.
  • I'm also worried that if I resign for a better opportunity, he might create problems with my relieving process.

At this point, the workload isn't the issue—it's the environment that's mentally exhausting.

Has anyone here worked under a manager like this? Did things ever improve, or did you eventually leave? I'd genuinely appreciate your advice.

Is Anyone Else Concerned About the Microsoft AI Skills Fest Voucher?

Hi everyone,

I'm starting to get a little concerned and wanted to check if anyone else is in the same situation.

I completed my playlist on Day 1 and submitted the form. According to the terms and conditions, voucher codes are supposed to start rolling out from 19 June.

However, I'm already seeing multiple people claiming they've received their voucher codes before that date. This has left me confused because I haven't received anything yet.

Are those people part of a different batch, or am I missing something? Has anyone else who completed everything early still not received their code?

Just looking for some clarity and hoping I'm not the only one in this situation.

Anyone else feel more exhausted by their manager than their actual workload

Am I overreacting or is this micromanagement?

I've been in my current company for around 6 months and I'm mentally exhausted. My manager wants to be involved in every small thing, rarely trusts people to work independently, and often ignores calls or messages when actual help is needed. However, he's very quick to correct minor things like email wording, reporting lines, or who was contacted.

I've stopped sharing my opinions because most of the time they're dismissed without discussion. The office culture also feels very political, and people seem more focused on hierarchy than solving problems.

The workload isn't even the main issue anymore. It's the environment that's draining me.

Has anyone worked under a manager like this? Did it improve, or did you eventually leave?

The connection to the incoming (IMAP) server was dropped. Please check the incoming (IMAP) server settings and try again.

I’m trying to add a Gmail/Google Workspace account to Outlook with Microsoft 365 Apps, but I keep getting this error during setup:

“The connection to the incoming (IMAP) server was dropped. Please check the incoming (IMAP) server settings and try again.”

What I already checked:

  • IMAP enabled in Gmail
  • App Password created
  • Correct settings:
  • Internet connectivity working
  • Port 993 reachable
  • Outlook profile recreated
  • Credential Manager cleaned
  • Registry OAuth identity cache removed

Google login/authentication succeeds, but Outlook still throws this IMAP dropped connection error.

Has anyone found a proper fix for this issue on Outlook 365?

Am I Still Underpaid in IT?

Sometimes I genuinely feel lost in the Indian IT industry.

I am 24 years old and I have almost 3 years of experience as an IT Executive and this is already my 3rd company. I work on Windows Server, Microsoft 365, networking, user support, infrastructure issues, and a lot of real-world IT tasks daily. I’ve spent a lot of time learning and improving my technical skills on my own as well.

But despite all this, my current CTC is only ₹3.85 LPA and my in-hand salary is around ₹26K/month.

The most frustrating part is that I still struggle to get into a proper corporate company because I don’t have my bachelor’s degree completed yet (currently pursuing it online). Sometimes it honestly feels like companies care more about a degree sheet than actual hands-on skills and experience.

I know there are people earning much more with less practical knowledge, and it gets mentally exhausting after a point.

Am I actually underpaid for my experience and skillset, or is this just how the Indian IT market works right now?

Hi everyone,

I’m testing Exchange Online MRM archive policies in a Microsoft 365 Business Basic trial tenant and wanted to understand if this behavior is normal.

Setup:

  • Created a 1-day MRM retention tag (Move to Archive)
  • Created and assigned an MRM retention policy
  • Enabled Online Archive mailbox
  • Verified policy assignment via PowerShell
  • Mailbox archive status = Active

When I manually run:

Start-ManagedFolderAssistant -Identity user@domain.com

the eligible emails immediately move to the archive mailbox successfully.

However, automatic processing does not seem to happen even after emails are older than 24+ hours (sometimes multiple days).

So basically:

  • Manual MFA = works perfectly
  • Automatic MFA = seems delayed/not running

I also noticed Microsoft’s note in Purview mentioning that classic MRM is mainly recommended for archive movement now.

My question:
Is delayed/non-aggressive automatic MFA processing normal in small/trial/Business Basic tenants, or is there something else I should check?

Would appreciate insights from anyone who has tested MRM recently in Exchange Online.

Thanks!
