hi I´m a new writer i need help on how to flesh out a character I'm planning to introduce in the later parts of my story
I haven't got to this part of the series in the writing aspect yet because I want to flesh out this character that I plan to add before I make those chapters the character I keep either making them too much of a bad person or too much of a good person when I think of them in my brain Because i want them to forgive and talk to each other a few years after they break up. If i make them too much of a bad person I wouldn´t want her to forgive him after he bettered himself with therapy and fixed his Anger issues
I'm trying to make a character that starts out with genuinely good intentions with the way they act not knowing that they´re making the person they love feel worse about keeping a secret that they have to keep because it's not really a secret that they should tell. At the end of their relationship he becomes more agitated and upset because when they started living together she kept hiding things from him and he stopped being the person he used to be out of jealousy and insecurity that she was cheating
Making the person that they're dating start planning to give up something that they love doing very much for them to stay together because they can't tell the person that they're dating they tried telling the person about the thing that they really love doing that they haven´t told them about because the person keeps not listening to them. (the secret is that they are a superhero/vigilantant)
Things that He ends up doing towards the end of their relationship is getting upset at her for coming home at 1 AM after ¨hanging out with her siblings¨ suspecting that she might be cheating on him and that her family is lying about how she was with them yelling throwing and breaking something that she cherishes in frustration when she leaves the room to give him space so that they can talk when he cools off. (as you can see I´m doing it again)
