For those who moved back to Tunisia after living in the USA or Canada how is life now?
Hey everyone,
I’m really interested in hearing from people who moved back to Tunisia after spending a good amount of time living in the USA or Canada.
How are you doing now overall? Were you able to find a good job or stable income that allows you to maintain a lifestyle somewhat similar to what you had in North America?
If you have kids, how did they adapt to life in Tunisia? School system, daily life, social environment, mindset, opportunities… Was the transition hard for them or did they adjust better than expected?
What were the biggest challenges after moving back? Work culture, salaries, administration, healthcare, education, infrastructure, mentality, or anything else?
On the flip side, what have been the biggest positives? Family support, cost of living, quality of life, culture, sense of belonging, less stress, or anything you didn’t expect to appreciate until you moved back?
Looking back now, do you feel it was the right decision? Would you do it again, or would you choose differently if you had the chance?
Any honest experiences would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to share.
