After 23 months, braces are finally off! I was really nervous about getting them removed since I had read it can be painful. However, I'm happy to report that it was super quick and relatively painless. The sensation of the braces being cracked off was unpleasant but not as bad as I though it was going to be. The sound of the removal was worse than the physical sensation. I'm having my teeth cleaned next week at my dentist and then hopefully a whitening treatment to get the most out of my new smile. Open to any questions about the process from start to finish!

This is my last week of braces, I'm happy to be getting them off but I am also feeling disappointed. I'm not feeling happy about my results. I feel like my midline is worse than it was before and there's gaps on the side that haven't been addressed. I expressed all my concerns to my orthodontist but he insisted it was okay. What do you all think?
