YouTube Crunchyroll captions

I’m trying to watch Naruto: Shippuden on YouTube Crunchyroll while I’m on vacation. I usually watch on the app, but the hotel TV only has Netflix and YouTube.
The captions on the YouTube version seem AI generated and are really delayed and somewhat inaccurate compared to the dialogue from my assumption. Is anyone else having this issue? Is there a fix.?

Beginner runner update, cardio feels better but calves/lower back are killing me. Form issue?

Posted here about 5 days ago as a beginner runner and wanted to give an update + ask for some advice again.
I’m 5’7 around 180 lbs and still very new to running. I’ve been trying to improve endurance and pacing while avoiding injury/burnout.
Today I hit my fastest 5K during a 4 mile run:
4.02 miles

9:50 avg pace

39:31

Avg HR 171

This run was outside on gravel and the weather honestly sucked. It was raining, hailing, windy, and cold the whole run.
What surprised me was cardio wise I actually didn’t feel terrible. I was still able to somewhat hold a conversation and didn’t feel nearly as gassed as my earlier runs. What held me back most was my calves and lower back.
My calves felt like they were on fire and my lower back got really sore/numb during the run. I also still feel really heavy while running, almost like I’m stomping and spending too much time on the ground instead of feeling light/springy.
Does this sound normal for newer runners? Or does it sound more like a form/mechanics issue like overstriding, cadence, weak core/glutes, etc?

PSF Eligibility List

Just had a question about how eligibility lists usually work with Puget Sound Fire.

I recently went through the entry-level process and ended up a few spots outside the cutoff for Chief interviews. They said I’ll stay on the eligibility list for 6 months and could still be contacted if more spots open up or people drop out.

For anyone who’s been through the PSF process before, how much movement does the list usually get? Do they commonly go back to the list later for additional academy spots/interviews?

Trying to stay realistic while still preparing and applying elsewhere. Appreciate any insight.

Beginner runner progress in 2 weeks realistic shot at a 14 min 2 mile in 3 months?

I’m a 5’7” male around 180 lbs and I just started running about 2 weeks ago after not having much of a running background.
Running has honestly always been my weak point. About a year ago I was around 220 lbs and my 1.5 mile time was roughly 18 minutes. I’ve dropped weight since then and recently started trying to take running seriously again.
Here’s my progression so far:
2 weeks ago: 3.07 miles @ 9:46 pace
Outside trail run
Avg HR 179
Max HR 201
I was absolutely gassed after this run. Heavy breathing, heaving, and honestly felt close to throwing up by the end.
4 days ago: 2.05 miles @ 8:31 pace
Outside trail run
Avg HR 181
Max HR 199
Same thing here, pushed really hard and was completely smoked afterward.
Today: 4.26 miles @ 9:51 pace
Treadmill run
Avg HR 163
Max HR 175
Last 1–2 min at 2.0 incline
This one actually felt way more controlled. I was tired, but not dying like the other two runs.
My goal is to run a 14 minute 2 mile within the next 3 months. Right now I’m trying to figure out pacing and build endurance without overtraining or getting injured.
Questions:
Is a 14 min 2 mile realistic from where I’m at?
Should I focus more on easy mileage or speed work right now?
Are those heart rates normal for a beginner pushing hard?
Does it sound like I just went out way too fast on the outdoor runs?
Would appreciate any feedback from more experienced runners.
