Want to take pride in my work!
Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere that was in need of or looking for a part time helper or apprentice for a couple years. I’ve realized I actually like hands-on work and being able to see and be connected to my labor. I’m pushing 30 and currently a part time student in networking so my schedule will change each semester (1-2 days per week). I currently have an IT internship but can work whenever, so it wouldn’t be a scheduling concern and is ending soon. Recently left my career as an industrial kitchen manager leading a team of ~40 people (burn out from 60+ hours a week + hated being inside all day but loved my team). Had great mentors, learned leadership and customer service, and managed regulations. I’ve been working as a delivery man for the past 8 months, ~11 hour shifts. Learned how to work hard all day, worked with a small team daily, actually enjoyed it for a job, and learned I want. I’m a fast learner, want to build a better community, and like to think I have integrity when it counts. This is just a shot in the dark but if anyone is looking to employ, I’m interested.
