I’m currently dealing with the “account not recommended” issue on TikTok and my reach has dropped significantly. My videos are no longer being pushed to the For You page.

The issue seems to be related to an impersonation flag, so I’ve already updated and cleaned up my profile to make sure everything is original and clearly represents me.

However, nothing has improved so far. I’ve also tried reaching TikTok support through different platforms and in-app, but I haven’t received any response. When I try to submit an appeal, it keeps showing a network error, even though my connection is perfectly fine.

At this point my views are really suffering, so I’d really appreciate any advice or guidance if you’ve seen this before or know what actually helps fix it.

I’m honestly exhausted and I don’t know what else to do at this point.

My TikTok account (44K followers) suddenly got hit with “Account not recommended” because they said I’m “posing as another person or organization.” I’m literally just myself. I show my face in my videos, I talk, I review things I actually use… nothing fake, nothing misleading.

Since then, my views have completely dropped. It’s like my account just died overnight.

What’s frustrating is I’ve already:

– Changed my username

– Cleaned up my bio

– Removed anything that looks like a business

– Tried posting normal lifestyle content (not even selling)

…and nothing has changed.

I’ve submitted appeals multiple times both in-app and through the web, but I’m not getting any response at all. No update, no explanation… just silence.

I actually enjoy creating content and I’ve been consistent, so seeing everything just stop like this is really discouraging.

Has anyone gone through this and actually recovered their account?

How long did it take and what exactly worked for you?

I’m open to trying anything at this point because I really don’t want to lose this account.
