I’m 16 and I have phimosis. My doctor has already prescribed me multiple creams to try to help with it, but unfortunately none of them worked, so I’m wondering if circumcision might be the next option for me. I still can’t fully retract my foreskin, and I’d like to hear from other people who had phimosis as teenagers and went through something similar. Did circumcision end up being worth it for you, or were there other treatments that worked after creams didn’t? I’m planning to talk with my doctor before making any decision, but I’d really appreciate hearing about other people’s experiences, especially with what they tried before surgery and what recovery was like.
