About the bag:
First, I bought this bag because the authentic M4rgaux is my dream bag and kinda wanted to test it out and see if I would actually like the bag. Well. Now I cannot really justify why I should spend thousands on the original. I have used this for some time now and I’m quite impressed.
The leather is just great. I chose the saddle leather because of its characteristics. It scratches easily but that’s part of the charm. I cannot wait for it to get a good patina. I will condition it later on with mink oil as I was advised.
I like the shape and the structure seems very accurate. I haven’t reached the desired slouch YET, but the bag gets softer every day. I’ve been using it as a work bag, and the size is just right. It’s a bit tight to fit my laptop (a 14” ThinkPad), but it does fit.
I own an authentic black 90s bag in the same leather, and there’s no difference in texture. I’m very impressed with how close Kendall’s version is.
Cons: Make me want to spend all my Big Girl Corporate Money on Kendall Factory bags. And stamps could be a bit more crisp.
