I ( 16m )caught feelings for my hbs ( 16m ) hallway crush ( 16f )

Ok so this happened TODAY and I’m so confused on what to do.
Alr so today I was volenteering for a school event when I got a chance to talk to one of my hbs hallway crush, and we were like vibing the entire time. Like my both male and female friends told me there was like tension between us and we were talking rlly well and she’s Genuiley like the sweetest girl I’ve ever met, like she’s really fun to talk to and we like wasted the entire day js talking about our interests to each other and like she’s kinda sensitive and I kinda have the humor where I say SOME offensive stuff ( as a joke ) but like I say I’m sorry after or if I make a mistake I say I’m sorry and she called that habit cute nd she said she rlly liked my hair ( I have finger coils/ Freeform’s ) and she was like pulling at it and playing with it for like a few minutes before a teacher started staring at us. And like towards the end of the day like I felt like developing feelings for her but idk if she dsnt want me or not Cs like there’s a lot of better options for guys at my school.
Anyways onto my hbs side, a few weeks ago he broke up with his girlfriend and a week later he caught feelings for the same girl because she was really pretty and she was the only girl
He couldn’t pull, which made him
Want her more, for context; he’s like
A MAJESTIC guy like there were girls claiming him
As their bfs at one point.
But like they haven’t spoken or anything but I’d feel wrong if I were to go for her, but then also it feels like I’m missing out. Like in a older post that got deleted I spoke about me being in a mostly brown area and usually no one’s type is black guys so I usually don’t find relationships really easily ESPECIALLY if it’s a brown girl, so idk what to do.
Like shld I go for her ( continue talking and see how things go ) or js stay friends with her.
Also… am I a bad person for This ?
