Hi all,
I need some advice on how to proceed. I signed my rental handover protocol on December 2, 2025 and vacated the apartment. Handover protocol stated just one little damage (the property manager told me it should be around a 100 chf bill) and nothing else. They said i will receive a copy of the Wohnungsabnahmeprotokoll via email (which i did not receive ever). A week later i receive an email about further damages and that the apartment was not clean enough. I had hired a company with handover guarantee and I redirected them to the company. They also mentioned that the one of the sink pipe was blocked and had paper and garbage in it. I can swear i never put garbage (why would I?) in there and I specifically checked while leaving that nothing is blocked, although i do recognize that over 6.5 years the pipe might not have stayed in prime condition due to hair etc going in. They also mentioned that they would need to re-paint (even though nothing of this sort was mentioned in the handover protocol) and said that the house was newly painted when i moved in (which it was not and i can prove this since they said “apartment was painted in 2017 when i moved in” BUT surprise, surprise I moved in in 2019 (hell i moved to Switzerland in 2018)). Anyways, after i got this email I rejected the claims via email and asked them for a copy of the handover protocol. They did not send me a copy. I asked multiple times over emails and no response.
I recently tried to contact again, but again no response. What should I do in such a case?
