AITAH for refusing to tell my husband my pen name?
Hi redditors!
I (28F) have been married to my husband (32M) for 4 years, but we've been together for 10 years. I've been writing poetry and I'm getting ready to publish my first book. I have told my husband about the book, the name, the theme, even showed him potential covers WITH the name of the book. Recently I opened a new tiktok and insta under my pen name and have been getting really positive feedback. The first time I let my husband read one of my poems, he responded with "That's weird". I expressed that he hurt my feelings and he explained that he doesn't "get it". He's not a reader at all, and I am quite the opposite. After he saw me getting some compensation, he asked to see my tiktok and I said no, it's under my pen name. So he asked me what it was, even though I have told him and he knows what the book is called so he could easily find it since it's literally my entire account. He confessed he doesn't know what it's called or what theme to look for. I have been writing this book for 5 years!! I told him that's too bad and now he's calling me an AH for not just telling him. So reddit, AITAH?
