Hi everyone, I never usually post on here but just wanted some insight.

I have been on mirtazapine for over 10 years, usually on 30mg or 45mg, i have gone up and down here and there. I have spoken to my doctor about the ongoing issues and he would like to trial me on pristiq and discontinuing mirt.

I am happy to try that but have some doubts as he wants me to drop from 30mg to 0 overnight, I have re visited him to ensure that is what he wants to do instead of a slow taper and he says it is safe. Has anyone else ever quit mirtazapine that quickly before, if so, how did it go ?

I do trust my doctor because he has been good to me for many years now. Just wanted to ask for other people's experiences?
