Hello everyone,

I’m new to the field and I recently equipped myself with an Apollo Twin X Gen 2 with the UAD Studio+ bundle 😎

I also took advantage of the « Pick 2 Plugin Bundle » offer at $99. My goal was to acquire the Neve 1073 and the CL1B compressor for sound recording, because after months of research, it was the ideal voice chain to record via the console. However, for lack of attention, I validated the 1073 and the Voxbox instead of the CL1B😭 Too bad... but the good side of things is that I no longer lack preamps for recording, knowing that the Studio+ offer already includes the Avalon VT-737.

I would like to collect your tips or tricks regarding my recording chain via the UAD console to Pro Tools Artist. Here are my planned configurations:

For RAP:

1073 in Unison, followed by an 1176, then Antares Auto-Tune directly in the console.

For Pop and sung voices:

1073, followed by an LA-2A, then Antares Auto-Tune.

Since everything will be recorded in « Rec » mode and not in « Monitor », I will add the reverberation or delay only in the console for monitoring.

Initially, I did not want to save the Auto-Tune directly to the socket so that I could modify it later in Pro Tools. However, I realized that the plug-in included in the UAD Studio+ bundle can only be used via the console. So I have no choice at the moment.

Not being a professional, I do my best. Your opinions and advice or even other channels are welcome,

Thanks in advance

merci d'avance
