AITAHusband’s colleague dismissing me
I have been going through a medical issue. My hubby works with a woman who always calls for a work question when he is taking me to an appointment. I get work stuff out of hours too but it’s every single time. This has been happening for months. Didn’t say anything. Came to meet hubby at work and she pretended not to know me because “I was well dressed’ as she explained to hubby without me there after. Turned up to meet hubby again this week. She was mid story about her own medical experience that mirrored mine when hubby opened the door. Didn’t say hi or stop to say she was talking about her own experience related to me. Just finished her story to my hubby. He said she asked how I was going and was telling him her story. He admitted they were talking about my medical journey. I feel stupid except I can’t imagine not saying hello to someone and especially not saying something if I’m talking about an experience relating to mine. I tried to talk to hubby about how this made me feel and he got defensive. I’m trying not to be upset and paranoid but I think she isn’t a ‘friend’ to me and is definitely excluding me. I don’t know what to think and feel like I’m being seen as a paranoid girl for feeling excluded/ talked about.
