I have been talking too this boy from my hometown for awhile now. I disclosed to him over the phone on FaceTime a few days before I went back to my hometown for the weekend. Honestly this was very scary for me and was literally most hardest thing to do since he is the first and only person I have told since contracting GHSV1 in October of 2025 so abt 7 months ago. It was nice to tell someone he was patient as I tried to get enough courage to say it and even supportive he really felt bad because he knows the person I got it from and was probably more mad for me than I was when I found out. Anywaysss we had sex that weekend both with and without a condom that was 3 months ago and he still negative and we still talk to this day so just a lil positive from this hell of a virus .

Iva had GHSV1 for almost a year now I got it from someone who went down on me without disclosing. Since then i’ve found a partner and have been with the same partner for 6 months although I don’t see him too often when I do we are having sex and every time like literally every time I have sex I have an OB. My OB aren’t the worst and don’t bother me too much at least not in my day to day life but still an OB is an OB. It usually just a small or medium cut if you was to look it would look like a tear but it’s not and it usually goes away in a few days with antiviral medication. My question is how do i stop this it feels like i’ve tried everything from suppressive therapy, abstaining from sex for a long period of time to help it heal, Condoms and no condoms, going softer and more gentle literally everything nothing seems to stop me from having an OB after sex and mind you this my only trigger i don’t get OB any other time 🫩
