Protbot redesign (yes, I know it's been 10 months since I last mentioned my OCs here)
(I didn't make a cool pose for the Level 1 redesign and its predecessors, and I'm still working on the Level 4 and 5 redesigns, so only Levels 2 and 3 have complete models interacting with the two older versions)
I don't remember how much I've talked about this character, but he's basically like Scientist, expensive, and attacks fast. During these months, I came up with a role for him: "Boss-Killer". He'll work like Scientist/Sparks, a tower that attacks fast for a while and then goes on cooldown, but HE HAS NO COOLDOWN. Sounds OP, right? Well, there's a trade-off: he can't switch targets. He can only move to the next one when the current target is defeated or leaves his range, and after that, he goes on a big cooldown, maybe 4-5s? Not sure. Fair for a Boss-Killer, right? Constant damage and high DPS, but terrible against multiple enemies at once.
You might be wondering why there are 3 different Protbots in each image (if you didn't get the message at the top). Well, they're the 3 versions of Protbot (duh).
The one with the giant single-colored eye and a white dot is what I like to call the "Legacy Version", made in November 2024. The second one, with the giant eye that looks like a shield, is the "Demo Version" (what do I mean by "demo"? I'd like to talk about it, but promotion isn't allowed, so I won't go into detail). I started it in mid-2025 and finished in October 2025 (a year old now, yay! That's also when I posted about the characters here). Then there's the current redesign, which I drew in September this year, and only now am I starting to make models with a friend of mine.
You have no idea, I compared everything from the start of the Legacy era (April 2024, yes, it started then, not when Protbot was created) to now, and I can see how much my design and modeling skills have improved (with my friend's help, of course). And all of it is mainly thanks to Tower Heroes, which inspired this. I don't give up because of it. Tower Heroes doesn't have many active players these days, but I think it's impressive that the game is still alive and getting updates. I'm proud of it.
Anyway, that's it! Maybe I'll bring more characters here, maybe the full Protbot redesign, and maybe Spiko's redesign next, if you guys like it
