Does a CLA typically include the checking and adjustment of exposure times?

Hi, I wanted to get a camera CLA'd by a shop and they told me that checking and adjusting exposure times is something totally different than a CLA. After telling them that I assumed that the adjustment part of CLA included this service they ghosted me.

Is this typically a different service?

Bad lab scan experience, 3 rescans with lint, wrong format and wrong resolution

Hi, I wanted to get a particular photo scanned so that I could print it. My home scanning setup isn't great, so I wanted to get it professionally scanned. They charged me €6 for a single frame at their highest resolution as a TIF, which I thought was expensive, but I suppose it could be considered reasonable since the photo had already been developed, even though they developed it at an earlier date. Today, I received the scan, but I was disappointed because there were multiple pieces of lint on the picture, and they sent it to me as a JPG instead of a TIF (I don't want to share the picture right now, as I am still waiting for an order from them and it was a street shot, and I don't want to share a stranger's picture on the internet without asking permission). I told them I had ordered a TIF, and they sent me a rescan, but there was lint on it as well, and they had cropped the person's feet. I asked again if they could rescan the picture, and they did. However, they sent me the picture with the leaders on it at half the resolution I originally asked for, and there was a piece of lint in the person's hair which I can't remove in post without it being visible.

I am considering switching labs because of this. Am I right in assuming that this is not OK?
