Should I buy a Giulia at 18????

Ok so I know what people are gonna say bad idea yeah whatever, just hear me out. So I’m 18, I absolutely love driving I’ve been driving since 14 so I need a sedan that looks nice but also preforms. The Giulia is such a nice looking car and I’ve genuinely fallen in love with them. I’m trying to buy used and wouldn’t purchase till next year so looking at like 23-24’ models (would prefer 24’ and up for the new headlights which look way nicer in my opinion). I have a budget of around 30k which is steep for a first car but by next summer I’ll have around 35k+ in my index fund ready to take out. I have another fund set up for college and the extra 5 or so thousand helps for a rainy day. My issue is reliability of course. When anyone talks about Alfa’s it’s always the first thing to come up and I’m worried about it. I know that pre 2020 models had a lot more issues and Alfa has made significant improvements but it’s still an issue that I’m hearing about. For example, my aunts 2021 recently just had a massive engine failure (Stelvio not Giulia) and I think she’s in the process of selling the car. I know that Alfa’s depreciate significantly which I don’t really care about that much, that’s what makes me able to purchase one. Maintenance and and upkeep is gonna be pricy with an Italian car of course but it just comes with the territory and I would buy something with under 35,000 miles also. I think I got everything but please let me know what your experience was with your Alfa. If it’s between an Alfa and a new Toyota Camry for around the same price there’s really no comparison. If anything I may be able to purchase extended warranty on the Alfa I’ll see. Thanks.

Edit:

After considering many different replies & perspectives I’ve concluded I don’t have to be boring but I also should be more financially responsible. I can work out a good balance. I don’t NEED a car at the moment which I mentioned in the post, but I probably won’t be buying a car next year. I’ll still get an Alfa eventually but maybe in my sophomore/junior year of college. By then newer models will be more depreciated and it will be a smarter decision. My main concern of reliability was somewhat addressed. Thanks for all the replies.
