Cold start misfire

(2020 TI sport) I’ve been plagued by a persistent cold start misfire, it began after an oil change and new spark plugs. The car will misfire for about a minute before running and idling normally, and will occasionally set off the “auto start/stop unavailable” warning light with no CEL. It has had two pending codes for P0301 and P0302 but not at the same time. I changed the oil again, verified correct viscosity, serpentine belt is not worn and is within the wear indicator, spark plugs were set to correct gap (swapped with NGK). The battery was replaced in February but has a voltage of 12.4 after sitting overnight.

Coolant line?

So I went on a trip to California for a week. I came home and looked over the car and everything was fine. I start it up and let it warm up for a few minutes and let the rpm’s settle. After about 15 min of going 65 on the highway I get off to stop and grab coffee and I see it smoking. And this is what I open the hood to. Can anyone advise what part this is? And what the dealer could possibly charge?

She’s finally here ❤️

After going from a jet black 2017 VW TSI, I just couldn’t help but fall in love with the blue.

Giulia stuck on 15.0 fuel consumption ?

https://preview.redd.it/qk4s7b2r5hah1.png?width=736&format=png&auto=webp&s=742e95f1449e3c4073bb5ef1fb633e1d7931cc76

my giulia display that i use 15.0 liters of fuel per 100km thats not surprising based on me always driving in city traffic but whats confusing is that i resetted a trip and drove for 5 kilometers, it said 15.0 again like from the start, since i bought it it has never gone above or below 15.0 and in that 5km trip i saw that it was below 15 even 10 on the 2nd graph where it shows last 20 minute consumptions, im just wondering if this can get stuck and display the wrong info ?

Imagine a 2 Door Giulia Coupe🥵

The pictures are AI generated, but damn I would love this. Anyone else thinks they should make a 2 door Coupe Version?

Problems with vibrating window control unit

Hi guys,

after more than one year of searching for a right offer, I finally purchased my dream car.

An Alfa Romeo Giulia Competizione in moonlight gray.

I really love this car 100%

I only noticed one problem very quickly.

If I listen to music with some bass, the plastic of the window control unit on the drivers side starts to clatter. It sounds like it's not screwed together right.

It stops if I lay my hand on it because it can't vibrate anymore.

I would be interested if you have the same issue or if this is a special problem in my vehicle.

Do you have any ideas to fix that?

Thanks!

2017 Giulia QV fuel pump issue [P00C6]

I recently got a 2017 Giulia QV with ~5k miles (had ~2k miles when I purchased it) that I daily drive for work. A month ago, while driving within the city, the car suddenly stalled and came to a stop with the lights and speakers running. I was able to start the car by jumpstarting it after 10 minutes and drive back home. The local alfa dealer identified that its due to the fuel pump having low pressure. The wait times for the new fuel pump module was 3 weeks and until then, I have been driving the car daily. Then just a few days before my appointment, the car came to a stop while driving, this time just outside my home! When I checked the error code (I had gotten an OBD2 reader after the first time), it was P00C6 which seemed to be related to low fuel pressure.
While jump starting did not work this time, I was eventually able to start the car after 30 minutes. I will note that both these times, the car had ~1/4 tank of gas. The dealer mentioned that while there is still no fix for this issue, they will be replacing the fuel pump with a new one.

I wanted to know if there is still the risk of this happening after the replacement and are there any ways of preventing this from happening in the future? Also, when is alfa expected to come up with a fix for this?

I just bought my dream car

2024 Giula Ti Q2 with red leather interior

After several frustrating months of test driving various sports sedans and hot hatchbacks to bring a little fun to my 150 minute round trip commute on the twisty mountain back roads, I finally discovered this unsold 2024 stock for under $30k at my local Alfa Romeo dealership. None of the cars I tested from other brands felt alive or exciting in the way I was hoping for. I've dreamed of owning an Alfa for at least 20 years but never imagined I would actually find a low mileage car with a warranty in my budget.

After just two weeks of ownership I've never had so much fun behind the wheel, and everyone I've shown it to has commented about how this is the most beautiful car they've ever seen in real life. Even my BMW-supremacist friend conceded the Giulia drives better than his M2 after just ten minutes behind the wheel.

Should I buy a Giulia at 18 years old???

Ok so I know what people are gonna say bad idea yeah whatever, just hear me out. So I’m 18, I absolutely love driving I’ve been driving since 14 so I need a sedan that looks nice but also preforms. The Giulia is such a nice looking car and I’ve genuinely fallen in love with them. I’m trying to buy used and wouldn’t purchase till next year so looking at like 23-24’ models (would prefer 24’ and up for the new headlights which look way nicer in my opinion). I have a budget of around 30k which is steep for a first car but by next summer I’ll have around 35k+ in my index fund ready to take out. I have another fund set up for college and the extra 5 or so thousand helps for a rainy day. My issue is reliability of course. When anyone talks about Alfa’s it’s always the first thing to come up and I’m worried about it. I know that pre 2020 models had a lot more issues and Alfa has made significant improvements but it’s still an issue that I’m hearing about. For example, my aunts 2021 recently just had a massive engine failure (Stelvio not Giulia) and I think she’s in the process of selling the car. I know that Alfa’s depreciate significantly which I don’t really care about that much, that’s what makes me able to purchase one. Maintenance and and upkeep is gonna be pricy with an Italian car of course but it just comes with the territory and I would buy something with under 35,000 miles also. I think I got everything but please let me know what your experience was with your Alfa. If it’s between an Alfa and a new Toyota Camry for around the same price there’s really no comparison. If anything I may be able to purchase extended warranty on the Alfa I’ll see. Thanks.

Oil Overfill issue

Took my car to a highly rated mechanic and provided him with 6L of oil. The oil gauge was a bit slow to update so he added all 6L of oil and it was still showing in the middle of the range but the next morning it jumped to showing max. He said that it's nothing to worry about but I'm not so sure. It is NOT showing an oil overfill warning. Does anyone know where on the range it shows for 5L of oil?
