Throttle control issues and I’m run out of cranberry juice. How do I get to the dealership that is 2 miles away?

As title says, Electronic throttle control issue warning and my coolant disappeared overnight. Made an appointment in a week from now but want to get there sooner however the best idea I have right now is to tow my car. Does anyone have any better suggestions?
Any information/suggestions much appreciated.
Thanks!

How bad is this?

Is it safe for a couple of days/60-70 miles?
Thank you!

Cycling partner

M38, looking for a cycling partner for occasional rides before/after work and on weekends here in Boston/Brookline area and anywhere else reasonably close to the area.
Road bike is my primary choice, but I’m open to gravel too — though I’m new to that one.
Age range 30–50, F or M, I don’t mind. I’m married, so I’m not looking for romance — purely bike partners and potentially new friends.
My other hobbies are photography and music, and I want to get into kayaking and tennis, if that’s somehow relevant.
Feel free to DM me if you’re interested.
Cheers!

Bought a Giulia with suspiciously shiny wheels. New England winters exposed the lie.

Four years ago I fell for this Giulia the way you’re supposed to fall for an Alfa, recklessly, against better judgment, ignoring every red flag. But the first thing I noticed wasn’t the curves or the badge. It was the wheels. Shiny. Gleaming (pic1)A bit too suspiciously shiny, like a first date who’s just a little too perfect. My gut whispered someone is hiding something. My gut was right, and a couple of New England winters were happy to expose the affair.
Turns out the previous owner had just painted over the original diamond-cut finish to mask what those winters were already doing underneath. Peeling clear, white corrosion crawling out of every spoke, curb rash — the full chalky betrayal (pic 2). Classic “treat the symptom, call it a cure” move.
So instead of slapping on coat #47 of paint, I sent them to a proper wheel shop, and these people are absolute wizards:
• Stripped to bare aluminum (pic3 naked on the lathe and somehow still gorgeous)
• Sanded out all the corrosion pitting and curb scars
• Powder coated a dark gunmetal base (pic 4)
• Re-cut the faces on a CNC lathe — that rainbow sheen in pic 5 is fresh metal flexing before clear
• Actually sealed them with clear this time
And just look at them now (pics 5 & 6). Four winters of salt and a hack paint job, and these came back from the dead looking better than the day they left the factory. True love, properly restored. 🤌
Moral: don’t cheap out. Find a shop that treats your wheels the way your Alfa deserves to be treated. ❤️

Does anyone have a suggestion for all-season tires for a Giulia Ti?

I used to run both winter and summer sets, but where I live the roads are brutal sometimes, and constantly repairing flats or replacing tires is getting annoying and expensive. I’m thinking switching to just all-seasons might be the easier option. Would really appreciate any advice.
