Alternator Brand

So recently I’ve been trying to trace a parasitic draw. 4Runner will sit for a week and will be dead when I go to start it. I recently installed an aftermarket audio system so I didn’t know if I had an amp that was still running when I had the car off. Well I was driving it the other day and I have the idatamaestro and it will tell you voltage from the alternator. When I came to a stop sign the voltage dropped to 11.8V and when I got on the gas it would go to 13.6V. So needless to say I need an alternator. I’ve been looking and I know people say to go with Toyota brand parts but I also know Denso is good quality. Does anyone have anything against Denso? From what I’ve read they were OEM at one point and I can get it from rockauto.

Car problems 2014 CKRA

Well, I’m 90% sure the car needs a new head gasket. These a coolant smell coming out the exhaust. I’ve checked the intercooler and it only has oil in it so that leaves me to believe it’s either he head gasket or the head has an actual crack. I’m praying it’s the head gasket. I tried scoping the cylinder but the camera I purchased is just a little too big to get into the cylinder to get a 100% diagnosis. Either way I believe the head has to come off. Does anyone know what all has to happen for the head to come off? I’m assuming timing belt, wiring harness, fuel lines, then the actual studs. Additionally, is there anywhere I can purchase upgraded head studs like arp or something like that? I’d like to make sure I have those upgraded as an insurance. I’m thinking of throwing the cp3 in it and possibly an upgraded turbo cause why not. If I do this I have a new turbo that has about 5k miles on it if anyone is interested. (Central Indiana) thank you if you got this far.
