at the risk of sounding exhausted and desperate, I genuinely need people I connect with. It feels like people here already have friends and don't give a shit about you. I have posted before as well, and lots of people DMd me and tried to hangout. But then even people who want to hang out start ghosting you , as if it's a romantic talking stage? Like can we PLEASE put in more efforts? Anyone interested in GENUINELY spending time, building a connection and a friendship? I know Reddit is not the most ideal place for that, but can we try?

Hey guys, I (24M) moving to Ahmedabad from Delhi (I know I know) for work. My company let me stay here for 5 days before I move here in May end and I have got a decent taste of the city already. But I want to build a nice network and circle of friends and a community when I finally live here.
