Water for Coffee Experiment. In Search Of:

Update. Nope. A bad idea. I am saving it to post jokingly on April 1. It was not good.

I am pretty far along in my pour over coffee knowledge of techniques and methods. And I mineralize my distilled water for coffee extraction. As a fallback, we, here in Houston, can also do a 50/50 distilled water/filtered Houston tap water to produce acceptable water for coffee extraction. As I was draining spaghetti today, thinking about how useful the spaghetti water with its remaining starch is, culinary-wise, I started ruminating about extracting coffee with pasta water and what the starch content would do to the final extraction. I wanted to throw this out there to hear if anyone has played around with starchy water for coffee. What do you say?

A weird request from a friend who was curious if I knew of any CDMX language schools that might be hiring someone to teach English. All my data is for language schools to teach Spanish. But I told her that I would ask the group, even though my gut feeling is that there aren’t any “paying” jobs, just volunteer for conversation type opportunities. . To further add to her difficulties, when I said “try joining some Facebook expat Mexico City groups to ask the question “, she said “I dont do social media. Ummm. Okay. “Well, in that case I will, throw the question out to a Reddit subgroup I really enjoy following. And here I am with her question for,the group.
