Houston Go Club 2026 Fall Tournament (Nov 7-8, 2026)

Six round, two day GO tournament for members of the American Go Association. Also called baduk, weiqi, or igo.
NEW QUIET VENUE: This year's tournament will be held in the library of the Chinese Community Center of Houston Texas. (Room 236)
Tournament will occur over two days. 9 am to 6 pm both days.
Games will be played using American Go Association (AGA) rules with Fischer Timing. Base time will be 30 minutes. Ten seconds will be added each move. Clocks, boards, and stones will be provided.

There will be two sections; an Open Section (games played without handicap stones) and a Handicap Section. Players of any strength can enter either section.
Competition prizes will be provided to the player with the best record among all high dan, low dan, single digit kyu, and double digit kyu players.

Single Digit Kyu: $150
