Discovered my (7yo) child has lice . Am unsure of how long it’s been . She is nonverbal and handicap. I noticed her itching her scalp . Lice . Used Nix lice treatment and i found 5 adults while combing her hair tonight . She gets very combative with prolonged hair brushing so I had to stop combing. What are the next steps ? I plan to call pediatrician in the morning and see if he’ll prescribe anything . I want the most efficient way to rid any of us and the house of the lice .
