Please tell me this is not a bedbug

Staying at a hotel. Manager said he doesn’t think it is one but we’re heat treating our bags just in case. Been here 6 nights and we examined the beds as soon as we checked in and saw no other bugs at all, including another inspection 30 minutes ago with nothing turning up.

Lice exposure!

My daughter just got rid of lice about 2 months ago. Well I just got a message from her daycare that there’s lice exposure in her room. I’m freaking out. To ensure this doesn’t become a thing (my anxiety can’t handle it), should I just treat her hair and her sisters as well? The company we used last time used ivermectin so I’d just do that.

Are these nits?

I got my hair dyed on Thursday and combed through it with a nix comb because my daughter had lice two weeks ago. I can’t tell if they are nits, dyed dandruff or left over hair dye. I have two autoimmune diseases that cause inflammation and make my scalp very dry and flaky. Any insight? just trying to figure out if it’s nits or not. Thanks!

Don't know if this is lice

Is this lice?

My heads been crazy itchy since I came back from an international trip. Super hot there and didn't really get to wash my hair properly bc of the water and the heat was making my hair dry. Was scratching pretty aggressively and this was under my nail when I pulled back

Idk what else it could be

Why is everything I read saying not to treat lice if you just found nits?

I found either a louse or a nit tonight while doing a comb through. I don’t have a photo, but it was a small, dark grey oval shaped thing with a tail. Could have been dirt, or my towel (since it’s black), but I’ve been air drying my hair recently so likely not the towel.

When I google what to do for a nit, everything I read says NOT to treat it. What do I do, then? Wait for it to become a live infestation? I’m going on vacation this weekend and need to deal with this now.

EDIT: never had lice before

Dimethicone on 9th or 10th day? wanna buy better kind?

Does it matter i used "dimethicone based foruma" is what box said ... on the 9th day...

We treated my daughter and my self LATE at night on May 6th, andno live bugs when brushed in between then we treated again on May 16th around noon . Does it matter it wasn't exactly 10 days on the dot.....

We never found live bugs this whole process except first night ...

I still feel like I want to purchase another demethicone, should I? And treat a 3rd treatment ??? Where should I buy it from? Maybe to just have on hand?

Dead nitz? Do I still have nitz that could hatch?!?!?!

I knoe its hard to see...it sure was hard for ne to see but I was pulling off a bunch of grayish knits, but I also know that the metal tooth comb would come out with like fuzzies also. And i'm pretty sure it's from the toilet paper.. would a egg b red like that one on the left picture?? But on the right picture, you can clearly see a knit in the hair. And then there was another one or two that clearly looked like that... so does that mean yesterday's treatment def didnt work and there very well still could be nitz bound to hatch ?

No live bugz found..or dead for that matter

I guess I just really, really, really hate the thought of bugs on my head.

Is this nits?

Background... kindergarten girl, long hair. Hx of eczema. No head itching and no complaints or sores on head. Had had these that are stuck on strands of hair for months. Never had a treatment. Sleeps with mom and dad and we have no issues. Could it be dandruff or build up?

Can I use RID super max advanced shampoo today until dimethicone ships in tomorrow?

PHOTO- I posted this old louse last week. Did NOT find this louse in my hair today. Check old post for info.

TLDR- Still had eggs. We found 2 brown eggs my mom got out and 2 white egg casing (I heard they’re white when they’ve hatched) so a total of 3.I should’ve just taken advice from one of the commenters and bought dimethicone but my mom made me hopefully so I felt I need not worry. Can I use RID today and dimethicone tomorrow until then?

More info-
I posted over a week ago. My mom checked my hair and said I had nothing. I just got my hands on whatever I could find fastest and that was RID super max advanced shampoo. She thought it was a miracle I had nothing other lice or eggs on my hair. She said it was clean of any of that. Well I did the treatment that same day and was going to repeat it day 7 but I thought wth I should be fine. Well… I felt slight crawling in my hair for some days. Not all the time but here and there and I thought ok maybe my hair is just moving because I would put it up in a claw clip. Well today I felt the same and I ask my mom to check and she found 2 brown and 2 white eggs so yeah. Needless to say I’m pissed and upset, even cried because I feel defeated. Can I use RID in the meantime today and dimethicone tomorrow?
Let me know the best steps to take! Any advice/criticism accepted.

Is this lice?

Hi guys! I asked a different subreddit to name this bug, and everyone told me to check this subreddit out because it looks like lice. I found it on my pajama pants and have no itchy hair or have seen any since. Claud AI convinced me it was a tick😭

When I killed it, it was mostly red blood. Is it possible for there to have been only one? This was about a week ago and I have not seen any or had any symptoms since.

Is this lice?

I’m hoping someone is able to tell me whether or not these are lice. I am a bit frantic. We had an occurrence of lice in our family in March. We were extremely diligent with the both types of treatments, as well as washing clothing, bedding, etc. I found these this morning and I am so, so fearful.

Lice vacuum

I had a friend years ago tell me she used her vacuum to get the live bugs out of her son's hair. Then proceeded to comb out as many eggs as she could. She vacuumed several times over the next 2 weeks and said they were gone after that. I see that there are now actual vacuum attachments marketed for this purpose. Does these work? Any merit with these tools for getting rid of lice? Are they strong enough?
