I think Hecate is calling me.
Not new to the craft but still very much a baby , I’ve never been really serious about my gifts but have always been drawn to practice because I’m highly intuitive, sensitive and have had people tell me to use my gift.
Fast forward to last night, I had an incredibly vivid dream where I was with my 2 childhood friends and Hecate had given us gifts to use. There were 4 dogs, 3 of them black that were very upset with the 4th dog and chasing it away, all the while I kept hearing “Hecate “ in a chant in my head. We used a small toy torch to call on her for guidance. Then there were ravens bringing me small trinkets because I had helped one at some point. I woke up at 3am startled but not scared, it was more of at proceed with caution type feeling
I have not done any research into Hecate, her symbolism or meaning but I now strongly think she was calling to me, all I knew was she was usually shown as having 3 heads and was the goddess of witchcraft
Would you interpret this the same way? How would one start to work with her? I’ve never felt drawn to any deity before now
