Genuine question: why does this guy who blocked me years ago bother creating posts quoting my statements?

I mean, it took me a while to understand the point of that discussion and that title, but then I realized it was a personal attack on me, so I'll explain it to all those other guys who don't know what it's about. I'm the author of that line in the title; it's an old line of mine from months ago about how Harumichi usually doesn't joke about his opponents' strength, and I still believe it. And indeed, as tough as all those TFOA elites must have been for him, Harumichi was still fresh enough to try to outbox Ryushin, then take a few nasty punches to the face, and then finally decide to stop playing boxing and destroy Ryushin in a few blows.

But that's not the point here. I'm wondering why a guy who blocked me years ago because I strongly disputed some of his arguments—like that Ryushin and Bito are on the same level as Hana Tsukishima, or that Guriko's chair shots didn't do much damage to Hana, and that the worst damage Guriko took in that fight wasn't from Hana's blows but from a random headbutt from a guy in the crowd... and stuff like that that pissed him off—is bothering to start threads about me after blocking me years later. This guy is so resentful that, years later, he's taking my comments, which, in theory, he shouldn't even be able to read anymore because he's blocked me, and starting threads about them that I'm excluded from. In short, not only is it bullying, but it's also sneaky and cowardly to post about my comments and arguments, knowing I won't be able to read them or comment on them.

These are still discussions about a comic, and I'm not the one who's angry with you—in fact, I didn't even bother blocking you. I'm not afraid of confrontation with anyone here, but I think after so much time, it's time to move on and put an end to these childish and cowardly posts. If you're looking to engage with me and my arguments, I'm here, but if you're afraid and have decided to block me, skip this nonsense and move on ;)

Another height comparison

Sakota is considered a tall guy, along with Daizen, Sera, Mitsumasa, and Shogo or Guriko.

Muneharu is a very tall guy, perhaps only Karashima is taller. I don't know if I should place Bisuko here, but I think he could be placed with Sakota and Daizen.

Then there's Renji, who is a little shorter, and still below Tora and Abo.

Hana is a little taller than Abo and perhaps fits with Renji or between Renji and Tora.

Hana's Height

In the discussion about Hana's strength, I wrote that Hana and Abo are almost the same height. Am I wrong?

Hana, Tora, and Abo are among the shortest characters of their generation, and this helps make Hana seem less intimidating to most people who see her for the first time.

In the images I posted, you can see Abo and Tora arguing over who is taller, and Tora appears slightly taller. In the other image, we see how Hana and Tora are very close in height.

If you can dispute this, and you think Hana is taller than that, I'll be happy, but please provide solid arguments.

Amachi was worried about Hana's progression

Amachi knew it too.

This is further confirmation that Hana has become much stronger since his first-year level was as thin as a sheet of paper compared to Amachi's.

Amachi also became a bit stronger, but while his efforts to improve included defeating Sera with great difficulty in his second year, when Hana had already defeated a similar opponent (Sakota), in his first year, he did so effortlessly and without any climax. He also managed to exchange blows with Guriko without wetting himself, and then managed to push him down a hill, while Hana would later manage to fight on equal terms with Guriko and come close to knocking him out, despite having taken heavy damage before the fight. It seems pretty clear that the two underwent very different progressions, and Hana ended up distancing Amachi significantly from the beginning of the story.

Situations where the greatest does not beat the strongest

I read a discussion attempting to debunk Zetton's famous quote about greatness always being superior to strength, using Harumichi's defeat against Rindaman as an example.

Granted, in that fight the two opponents were practically equal, but the point is that in that particular fight Harumichi was still a sophomore, while Rindaman was a senior. Harumichi still had a long way to go, and in any case, even the greatest of all is extremely difficult to bridge the age gap when facing each other at these levels, when facing an S-rank fighter. Hana won't be able to do it, Tatsuo won't be able to do it, and Bouya won't be able to do it. Guriko manages to demolish Zetton, and Rindaman beats Genji, simply because their opponents aren't S-ranks; here the generation gap isn't enough to shift the balance and give the victory to the A/A+.

There's another important factor that must be taken into consideration, and it's a key tenet of Takahashi's narrative: to become the greatest, you must experience defeat at least once in your life. This is why characters like Rindaman or Guriko, despite being incredibly strong, appear mostly limited and locked into their own strength. This is why Bouya, in the collective imagination, wins over Rinda, and Hana wins over Guriko, despite having lost their respective matches. It's interesting to note Bisuko's victory over Hana here, which was entirely unnecessary considering Hana's previous defeat against Guriko and would have allowed Bisuko to achieve her long-awaited first defeat, following in Tatsuo's footsteps. But Bisuko seemed too complete from the start, too farsighted, endowed with an awareness and humility rare even among the wisest and most mature characters in the series... which is why I think she truly deserves to be counted among the greatest of all time, not to mention the fact that Takahashi himself stated that when he created the concept of Bisuko, he had only one thing in mind: this character had to be unbeatable by anyone. Against him, Guriko probably wouldn't even need the age difference, or a few dirty tricks, to win.

In conclusion, Zetton's quote still holds true, which is why Harumichi thought he would lose to Osamu. Harumichi simply loses to Rindaman because he wasn't yet mature enough (great enough) to bridge the generation gap with the older Rinda. But don't worry, at the end of Crows, Harumichi, in his greatest form, states that he wants to seek out Rinda to settle the score one last time ;)

problema avviamento xjr 1300 a iniezione (2010)

Do you think Bisuko took Hana's uppercut?

By Guriko's own admission, if Hana's best shot had landed, he would have lost the fight. Hana narrowly missed the blow, having taken enormous damage both before and after the fight. He likely lacked the mental clarity and speed to land the blow. A bit of bad luck and Guriko's cunning also did the rest. It's a similar situation to the one between Bouya and Rindaman, where a few centimeters and careful timing made the difference between victory and defeat.

Hana's uppercut is one of the most powerful and lethal strikes in the entire series, along with Guriko's ghost kick, capable of taking down a Tier 4 King like Mitsumasa in a single hit, when the fighter is still at 100% health. 4Kings characters like Zetton, Ryushin, Shogo, and Amachi would be easily knocked out.

What I'm wondering, though, is whether Bisuko was able to fully catch Hana's uppercut and get up. I find it hard to believe that Hana wouldn't have attempted his best shot against an opponent of Bisuko's caliber, and I find it equally hard to believe that the scenario that occurred against Guriko, where Hana missed Bisuko, would have been repeated narratively. It would be too much of a déjà vu. I don't even believe he blocked it like Zetton did, because Zetton was able to do that as a senior, against a rookie Hana, who was much weaker and unprepared. A scenario in which Bisuko blocks the uppercut like that, against a Hana who had reached that level, would be a bit strange as well as disappointing.

The most interesting scenario would be if, in the climax of the fight between the two, Hana had landed the blow and Bisuko had gone down momentarily, in a scenario similar to the one between Bouya and Kuzugami, but in reverse, where Hana believes he's won but finds Bisuko standing up for one last assault. This would be narratively consistent with Bisuko's character, an unbeatable fighter who even outmatched Tatsuo, defeating Suzuran's larger man, and even overcoming Hana's uppercut and it would also be consistent with the very heavy facial damage suffered by Bisuko which appears even more serious than that suffered by Hana himself.

What do you think?

I debunk the idea that Bisuko was shocked that Hana was from Suzuran

You may have read in the Hana vs. Tatsuo tournament discussion, the latest spin from the usual geeks trying to devalue Hana and her generation compared to the Crows era. They've invented this theory that Bisuko was shocked when the name Suzuran and Tatsuo Kuzugami's only defeat resurfaced in his memory. This, according to these geeks, implies that Bisuko was shitting himself, or something like that, when he heard about Suzuran and remembered Tatsuo's defeat, and therefore implied that Bisuko didn't think he was Tatsuo's match, or that he was weaker than him, or something like that. I know, it's hard to even explain, but you'll have to make an effort, or at least you can just go read the discussion directly.

This would already be a silly interpretation in itself, simply because Tatsuo was the founder not only of the clan now led by Bisuko, but also of the entire Manji organization, thus inevitably becoming something of a legend for Bisuko. A legend that had only lost one fight... but the worst thing is that this interpretation is based on completely false foundations. The reality says the exact opposite. If you look at all the images I've attached, you can see that after a moment of surprise at remembering Suzuran, Bisuko processes it in the opposite way. A mocking smile appears on his face, he clenches his fist (the last image has been cut, demonstrating that after learning of Hana's shared origins and the only opponent who defeated Tatsuo years before, he is even more eager to face Hana, super excited at the idea of competing in the same test that Tatsuo had failed years before.)

Would you call Bisuko shocked by this? I'd call him super excited and with itching hands!

This has been used to clumsily and forcedly delegitimize Bisuko and therefore indirectly Hana and Guriko, who are fighters of Bisuko's level. But on the contrary, Bisuko's enormous mental and character strength, the fact that he defeated Hana, who was the Suzuran monster of his generation, and that he probably could have also beaten Guriko—by the author's own admission, calling the outcome of the fight between the two unpredictable—and thus surpassed even the Suzuran monster of the previous generation, led him to be successful and to go further than Tatsuo. Bisuko was not only the Manji champion of his era, as Tatsuo had been years before, he also seems to be a better man and therefore probably a stronger fighter than Tatsuo. Many will be familiar with the interview Takahashi gave at the end of Worst, in which he discusses the concept of Bisuko's character and his victory over Hana. In it, the author states that the basis of Bisuko's concept was the idea that he was a fighter unbeatable by anyone, even the series' protagonist. This therefore seems to be the identikit of Takahashi's definitive fighter, something that Tatsuo was far from being.

Hana had already gotten stronger over the course of the first year.

We often quote Sakota's quote about Hana fighting Butcher in the second year, and how Hana had become even stronger, but few mention the fact that Sakota had already said something similar during the fight between Hana and Chiaru Ogawa in the first yar. Hana was already progressing rapidly during his first year, after he defeated Sakota, and after the author had stated during the first-year war that the difference in strength between Hana and Amachi was slim. It's interesting to note how here Hana still had to surpass Chiaru and improve further. Meanwhile, a long time would still pass before Amachi would challenge Sera to push himself to the next level.

Sakota, in Chiaru's storyline, also stated that seeing Takumi break up the skirmish between Sakota and Chiaru, he sensed that Takumi was probably stronger than him and Renji (and with them, even characters of their same level like Sera or Daizen). While this opinion isn't very popular, as it devalues many of the characters many people love compared to Takumi, this is what the author is telling us through Sakota's feelings, and in my opinion, we should take note. This is also confirmed by the fact that before meeting Hana, Chiaru will track down Takumi to challenge him, considering the challenge with Sakota obsolete.

Can Hana (senior) replicate one of Guriko's greatest feats?

Despite Hana going head-to-head with Guriko, despite not being at his peak, despite being on par with Bisuko, whom the author himself calls Guriko's equal, and despite the fact that at the end of Worst, Hana was called back by the Suzuran boys to stop Guriko's demon form when he went berserk... as always, Hana's detractors struggle to accept that Hana is among the greatest and try to downplay him to the level of characters like Parko, Bito, Ryushin, or Zetton.

The latest gimmick I've read is that Hana wouldn't be able to replicate Guriko's feat as a first-year, simultaneously beating Kurosawa, Butcher, Harada, and 14 other freshmen.

Here we must consider that Guriko wasn't yet at his peak, he was only a first-year, and the same goes for his opponents. Likewise, Hana fought and held her own against a Guriko much stronger than the one who beat all these guys.

So back to the topic: do you think Hana, in his strongest form, a third-year, the one who fought evenly with Bisuko, could replicate Guriko's feat in her first year and beat freshmen Kurosawa, Butcher, and the others simultaneously?
