Are all the 86ers the same ?? I've been reading the 5th LN and I'm currently at the point when the gang first meet Vika and it's described that none of the 86 members were remotely interested or captivated in the furnishings of the room they were in. Only Lena seemed to be .

I get that these guys are hard-lined soldiers but damn , is the loss in the beautiful side of stuff and life that lost on them ?? This is soo different from their reconnaissance trip where they seemed captivated by the beauty of the locations they see before they got rescued by the Federacy.

Also , the generalisation in stuff regarding the 86ers is something I've noticed to be quite frequent . The point of " all " of them being emotionally detached for the most part is quite frequently seems pretty unnatural for me even for guys suffering with severe PTSD , emotional and physical trauma .

What do y'all think .

My journey in the late Kentaro Miura's fictional world.

Hello strugglers , Huckleberry Finn here. Last month I was introduced into the world of Berserk by my girlfriend through the 1996 Anime . I ranted over it and it helped lower my Cortisol . I heard about the Manga and I seeked the community 's guidance to a reading order . Y'all were right , this universe is just horrible . Up there with Blood Meridian , All Tommorows , Dark Souls , Reverend Insanity and the like . I've read upto to chapter 383 and I can say , this has been one of the toughest reads ever . I thought Elric , AWOIAF and Malazan were rough , but boy , was I wrong .

The art is a +10 , the characters & their interactions are just goated. The action and raw , visceral and unfiltered nature of the story as it progressed always left me at a loss for words. Puck is now one of my favourites . Mr. Miura's numerous references to media particularly Star wars through Puck is just so clever and engaging. Delving into Guts's and Casca's mental and physical states after The eclipse and the dark age set in by Femto's betrayal was truly depressing . Seeing Skull Knight talk about Causality and seeing the cycle of destruction through his backstory offered insight to him as a character and as a cautionary tale to what could happen in if Guts went absolutely berserk . The berserker armor is ☠️

The manga has a lot of jumpscares and genuine holy cow / wtf moments ( Falconia and Ganishka's defeat , the 🍇ist horse and Farnese's possession ) , some of which I collaged together above . The restoration of Casca's sanity was such a great moment but damn couldn't they catch a break? . They cant be together without Casca going into a panic attack. Then , Griffith had to ruin it and to make it worse , through their kid . I'm fully convinced that Guts needs to live for his son and for Casca and I just want him to know that he has a son basically fighting a body thief for control ( Griffith's gotta go man ) . The kid literally made me smile every time and I really enjoyed the small bits of Dad Guts . Seeing Farny develop from an entitled brat was just great in extension to showing magical potential. Serpico , Schierke( W) , Isidro , Ivarella and all the characters have been fun to say the least.

I also , found a Grunbeld spinoff and may I ask ; ......why is it so 🤔 errrm.......' Meh ' ?. I also would like to have any suggestions for fictional works similar to Berserk or just any good mangas( emphasis on mangas) I can go for. Thank you .

Hello there. Im Huckleberry. I watched Berserk for the first time last night . My girlfriend suggested it to me as she saw me gain an Intrigue fo DCs Absolute Comics Line specifically Wonder Woman. I was previously (By that I mean half a year ago or so) a person who avoided and hated on Anime because I was being a dick. Then I met her (thank God) and she Made me watch Vampire Hunter D , Ninja Scroll , Hellsing (both) and some few more . I changed my perspective on Anime as an art form since and I believe it's essential to tell beautiful stories that dont really get much attention .

So She reccomended Berserk to me and my instructionI was to watch it alone and boy , oh boy ; I've never felt so angry about a fictional character since my days on AWOIAF(Ramsey Bolton) .

I Broke my TV remote after hurling it on my wall .Pretty sure my neighbours heard the strong swearing and shouting directed towards my TV .I hate Griffith with a passion even my GF has never seen. It just wrecked me on levels I've never perceived possible. Like seriously WTF???😭😭😭. Couldn't even sleep afterwards. Just stayed on my couch for a couple of hours.

Why did the stuff that happened to Casca and Guts have to happen to them???😭😭😭😭. My boy Judeau dies after becoming my favourite supporting character. Finnin too . Why goddammit????. I also dont get to see what happens to Rickert. I didn't care for Corkus (He was an ass honestly)

I found out it has no second season but there's a Manga. I need Guidance folks . I neeeed to know what goes on after the finale. This masterpiece means a lot to me now. I have to see this through all the way to the end.

I needed to simply rant so I could lighten the high level of Cortisol I've gained. I hate Femto (I refuse to believe that the Valyrian looking guy was even Good at heart in the first place ) .I hope he burns into nothingness in the manga because he deserves it all. (Im coming for him)

Can I please get a reading guide for the mangas and Any additional material related to this beautiful work. It would mean a lot . Thanks.
