I have recently finished watching this anime and this is one of the best things I have ever watched, I have heard that it was good and that it was underrated but how is not more popular. I have only seen around 50 animes so I can't compare it to to much but in my opinion it was great

I absolutely loved the ending, the action and the characters and story was so well written

What if the idea was to get an 86 season two, 86 months from the airing of the last episode of season 1.

Thats from march 2022.

Came here just to express how amazing it felt watching the anime. Probably the greatest ending that i’ve seen of all time, along with the beautiful ost. I genuinely don’t know how to express what I’m feeling after watching the last 2 episodes, but I’d also love to hear what you guys experienced when you were watching/finished the anime

So.... That was one hell of an ending.... Frederica is back on the throne??? With Shin by her side??? Asato??? I wished I waited at least until volume 15 was released coz this cliffhanger is too much for me. Is the Federacy going to go back to being an Empire? If that is so, will Frederica be forced to rule? Or have a regent (Shin? Ernst?) until she's old enough? Why's Shin there? To protect her from those vile things? Forced by them to be there? What happened to Project Overlord, they can't proceed without Frederica and certainly not without the Reaper. I did entertain the thought of Lena possibly becoming a real Queen and not just the Eighty Six's Queen but I really didn't think they'd put Frederica on the throne during this chaos.... Can't volume 15 come out sooner.... ToT

I finally finished making a full episode by episode breakdown and deep analysis guide for 86 . It covers all of Season 1 and the special episode, and I basically made it as a rewatch companion for people who already love the anime as much as I do.

I tried to go way beyond just summarizing the episodes. I talked about the emotional moments, hidden details, foreshadowing, themes, character development, visual storytelling, soundtrack usage, and a lot of the smaller things that make 86 hit so hard emotionally.

This does contain full anime spoilers, including major deaths, Shepherd reveals, Shin and Lena’s development, and the ending, so definitely don’t read it if you haven’t finished the series yet.

I spent a really long time working on this and putting my thoughts together, so I’d honestly love to hear what people think, whether it’s feedback, favorite sections, things I missed, or just discussion about the series in general.
