Mine was that chasing last week's points almost never works.Every fantasy manager has that one mistake they only made once drafting with your heart, overreacting to one bad game, holding onto a player for too long, starting the wrong guy in the playoffs, or trusting preseason hype. What is the lesson you had to learn the hard way, and has it changed how you play today?
I am posting this as a moderator from a team that has been trying to understand a recent situation. One of our moderators was permanently suspended for an alleged Mod Code of Conduct violation. We are not asking for a ban appeal here or requesting that admins reverse the action through this thread. We simply want to understand the process. This moderator played a major role in improving our communities. They introduced stricter anti-spam policies, removed large amounts of spam, and enforced our rules consistently. Since those changes, spam in our communities dropped significantly.Because of that enforcement, they also received a large number of reports and negative reactions from users whose spam or rule-breaking content had been removed. We do not know whether that had any effect on the enforcement decision, but it has raised concerns within our moderation team.
My question is: If an entire moderation team genuinely believes a Mod Code of Conduct enforcement may have been incorrect, is there any official process for requesting that the case be reviewed, other than the suspended user's own appeal? We are only looking for clarification on the process so that we understand the correct way to handle situations like this in the future.
Thank you.
