They were the manifestations of the sense of humor and imagination of prankster‘s who venture through the American Woodlands all because they wanted pull pranks just like in cartoons.
In a joke shop near the woods, a prankster named Jeremy was working when he spotted
cartoon-like creatures through the window. They had black, bulbous noses and striped tails—
one male and one female. Thinking they were deformed raccoons, the young man decided to
prank them by sneaking behind with cream pies to throw at them.
When he did, the creatures were impressed rather than offended. They became his
companions and began working in the joke shop. Using their cartoony nature, they added
prank items that defied the laws of physics and biology—from oversize mallets with built-in
spring-loaded boxing gloves to bombs that exploded into glitter and shaving cream, and jack-
in-the-boxes that went 67.
Jeremy’s mind was blown by their powers. Millions of customers came to the shop to buy their
wild inventions, and business was booming.
After things were going great, a couple of robbers broke into the shop and began stealing
money from the cash register. Jeremy and the Comicnoids were shocked. The creatures
walked toward the robbers and handed them jack-in-the-boxes. When the robbers cranked the
handles, clown figures popped out, wrapped them in ropes, and soon the police arrived to
arrest them.
As a reward, the mayor gave Jeremy and the Comicnoids the key to the town. And they lived
happily ever after
