Which archetype-specific shots/skills are really worth grinding for with alt characters?

The technician bunker pick shot is definitely a must-have for me, but my initial character was already a technician, so I didn’t have to create an alt character to unlock that one.

Now I’m looking at the other special shots and skills, and wondering which are worth the time to unlock with alt characters that are taken up to level 85.

I have my eye on the following:

  • Power drive.
  • Green reader.

Are those worth it?

Are there any others that are worth it?

Thanks.

If you always allow the full cinematics to play after sinking puts in multiplayer, you're probably a bad person.

You're also uncouth if you hardly ever use the fast-forward feature.

Will closed-source wallets become more popular?

Assuming the Coldcard exploit is related to a weakness in code that is visible to the public, will there now be a stronger argument for fully closed-source hardware wallets?

In the era of powerful AI code analysis, does closed-source become more attractive from a security perspective?

I honestly don't know. I'm just interested in different viewpoints.

Regardless of open vs. closed, it seems like we'll end up in a scenario where developers and hackers are both using AI to scan software for vulnerabilities, so it's all about who has the better AI and/or more resources to power the AI.

Are there fewer quitters at higher ranks?

Currently at Birdie 3 and getting a fair number of opponents who bail when it becomes clear they'll probably lose.

Does this get better at higher ranks, or are there babies at all skill levels?

Need help identifying this old Charvette.

  • HSS pickup configuration w/ 5-way selector switch.
  • Volume knob and tone knob.
  • Floyd Rose bridge.
  • Serial# 002105.

After asking a few AI systems and searching myself, I’m guessing it’s a 1989 Model 250, but I’m less certain about whether it was made in Japan or Korea.

Hoping somebody here can tell by looking at the fret markers or some other indicator.

The 12th fret markers are about 2.4 cm apart center-to-center, which I’ve heard might indicate Korean manufacture, but I’ve seen pictures of other Charvettes where the dots are even farther apart than mine.

I’m hoping it’s Japanese, because those are apparently more valuable.

Thanks so much for any insight.
