It's been a month and 5 days with no hot water

I'm filing a dispute with the board obviously, and of course after weeks and weeks of fighting with my landlord, them not wanting to pay to get it fixed, a hot water tank finally showed up today to get installed. Guess what? They ordered the wrong tank. So this continues. At this point this an insane amount of time to not have hot water, and I'm just wondering what kind of compensation/rent reduction I should be seeking? I'm livid and I still have no clue when I will have hot water. And no, I don't have money to pay out of pocket to have it repaired.

Have had no hot water this entire month in rental unit

Hi legal advice, I have had no hot water in my unit which I informed the landlord of on the second, and then again on the tenth. A first plumber came by finally on the 18th to assess but the landlord didn't like the quote and said it would be at least another ten days from the time they cancelled the plumber (which was in the 20th).

Today the landlord messaged me asking to pay rent early so they can pay to have the repair done. I also want to note that this is not the actual owner of the house, just the leaseholder, and it has not been a pleasant first month in this unit. I have no way of communicating with the homeowner

I would have paid for the repair out of pocket if I was able to afford it but unfortunately I am not in a financial situation to do so.

What are my steps forward here? I also believe this is worthy of some sort of compensation seeing as I have been unable to shower at home as well as run my dishwasher as there is no water connected.
