SoCal credentia skills exam

I’m studying for my skills exam this Saturday and I’m taking it through credentia in Southern California. I’m wondering if anyone here has experience taking it recently. I’d like to know if they have all of the “stuff” there or if you have to verbalize the skill. Also, I’ve heard some testing centers have multiple people doing skills while one evaluator watches them all simultaneously. Was this your experience? Basically I’m just looking to know what to expect generally. Any information you can share on your experience would be suuuuper helpful. Thank you in advance!!!

Men’s haircuts?

I need to get a haircut for a job before next Saturday. I haven’t gotten a “real” haircut in years lol. I don’t need anything super fancy- just a regular, affordable haircut. Extra points if it’s near Belmont heights/4th st. Any recommendations would be super, super appreciated!

I’m currently working on prereqs for an LVN program in Southern California and if all goes well, I’ll start that program in spring of 2027. My hope is that I’ll be able to work in a hospital while I’m in school and I’d like to use the time I have to maximize my chances of that! So far, I’ve got my EMT certification, BLS provider CPR and I’ll have my CNA certification soon. I’ve got a couple of months this summer with no classes and I’m wondering if there are additional things I can do to maximize my chances of getting hired in a hospital as an ER tech, PCT or other entry level position. Phlebotomy? EKG?PALS/ACLS? Would volunteering at a hospital help? I know the job market is competitive here so I’d like to do what I can to make myself stand out! I currently work full time, but it seems like there are relatively flexible options for all of these. I also make good money where I am right now so I’m willing/able to spend some money on classes. Any advice would be much appreciated!!!
