Would this pass at a lab?

I know “a line is a line” on home tests but I’ve had faint lines on home tests (fainter than pictured but still there) and failed at the lab before. Have a really important pre employment screening coming up and considering using synthetic but really nervous about it and don’t want to if I don’t have to. Any insight would be appreciated.

Context: This is an end of day urine but I’m not super hydrated (I have a diet soda problem lmao)

Tempature practice/tips

Using quick fix for the first time on Monday. From what I understand getting the tempature in range and not overheating are the two biggest factors in passing. I decided to buy a spare bottle to practice and determine what method would be the best for me to get it right, and figured it wouldn’t hurt to share my results here since the pinned post on this subject is four years old now. Hope this helps anyone out there:

Microwave and heating pack method: Originally I wanted to follow the instructions on the package to the letter, but my trial run actually made this seem like the worst option imo. In my microwave it took about five seconds to get the temp strip to read 90 degrees and 5 more seconds (10 total) to get it up to 100. I’m guessing somewhere in between could land you at 96-98. Anything more than 10 seconds puts it over the 100 degree mark. Once at 100 degrees, I activated and placed the heating pack on the bottle away from the temp strip. I then put the bottle between two pairs of compression shorts right over my junk, not touching skin and heat pad facing out. After about 30 minutes in there, it was still at 100 degrees, but after about an hour it had actually overheated again. I decided this method wasn’t for me because the overheating risk and it potentially being too hot at collection or failing SVT tests due to formula breakdown.

Microwave and body heat method: Basically the same as above but using body heat to maintain heat rather than a heat pack. This was actually the first trial I did, so I accidentally microwaved it past 100 degrees. I let it cool down to 98 degrees and then put it under one pair of compression shorts touching my skin, tucked between my thighs and balls. My body was able to hold the temp at 98 for an hour before I pulled it back out. It quickly dropped to 96 after removing it. I think this method would work, especially if you’re in a rush, but with what seems to be an increase in people getting flagged during SVT potentially due to overheating, I decided it might not be worth the potential risk if you have time to prepare.

Body heat only method: This is the method I’m gonna do with my real bottle on the actual day of testing. I put it in the same spot as the microwave/body heat method just without microwaving it first. Pop that sucker in there from room temp. It took me about an hour to get the temp up to 94. After two hours I got it up to 96. Im not sure if/doubt I could get it any hotter than this just using body heat, which pretty much eliminates the risk of overheating the formula. My one concern was the possibility of the formula getting too cold in the time it takes to take it out, pour it into the test cup and have the tempature read (takes about four minutes). To test this, I took the bottle out and left it out in the open with a timer running. It took 13 minutes for the green dot to drop down to 90 degrees, 15 minutes for the 90 degrees to have a red dot (top range of temp) and 20 minutes for the strip to go blank (temp out of range entirely). Let’s say you cut this in half to account for the formula transferring from the closed bottle to an open cup in a cold doctors office. That still leaves you 6-7 minutes before it’s at the bottom of the range, 7-8 minutes before it’s potentially too cold, and 9-10 minutes before it’s definitely too cold. Since the temp has to be read within four minutes of testing (and usually gets read as soon as you hand the cup over, so more like two minutes), there’s basically no risk of it falling below range before the temp gets read.

Hope this helps inform anyone who can’t get a spare bottle to run their own trials or is just really nervous like me. We all got this!!!

Anyone have experience with tests that include specimen validity testing?

Taking a drug test before Monday for the most important job offer of my life. Going to have to use QF because of THC. The test is at Quest, but is being registered through FirstAdvantage. The test type is 5+Her ST. I believe this means 5-panel plus heroin and specimen validity testing. Anyone had success or problems with lab tests that include specimen validity testing? QF is my only option but still freaking out because I hear the specimen testing is what gets people caught sometimes. Thanks

Need help/answers, seal came off bottle

Bought a bottle of QF for a drug screening within the next week that I’ll probably need it for. I was inspecting the bottle/practicing concealing it today and the seal came off. Will the QF still be good within the next week or do I need to get a new bottle? Thanks in advance

Update: Did some research and although the QF *can* be fine after breaking the seal it’s not guaranteed. Decided to just go get a new one and be safe. Will practice with the broken seal one

Help a paranoid fella

Just got a legit career/life changing job offer. Will need to drug test within the next 1-2 weeks. Should I use QF or my own wizz? (Left to right is 15, 20, 50 mg/nL). Extra paranoid because I had a faint line on a 50 mg/nL test a month ago and failed an eCup 10 panel.

Would I pass at a lab?

Only asking cause a few weeks back I had an extremely faint line (more faint than the test pictured) and failed at the lab.

Peeing in the toilet

Would it be wise to pee in the toilet, pause to pour my QF in the cup, then finish peeing in the toilet to make everything sound correct from outside? Or is that overkill/dumb? I know they have that blue stuff in the toilet but idk what it actually does lol
