I have spent one year drawing our two favorite lovebirds and honestly It's crazy how much I improved on drawing birds and animals in general, but I must remember my roots stemming from reddit. Even before the Name "KVN" I used to be huhbunguh Or at least that's how people recognize me to an extent I joined this subreddit first before I knew of Riocord I sent a lot of my early art here OH BOY My early stuff was rough but a lot of people really stuck with me and watched as I grew from humanoid versions of Blu and Jewel to What I'm accomplishing now. So I would like to thank everybody on Rioddit For all the support but more notably Feisty_Albatross, Cyzzby, and BluyesJewelno For being some of the first people to ever respond to my art even when it was at its lowest point But I still want to thank everybody for this journey and I hope I can make even better Blewel art in the future Thanks to the support of Riocord and Rioddit. Though I may have found a home in Riocord, I can't forget my roots from Rioddit I thank you for your time.

For my take on Roberto I wanted to make him Blu's best friend in a way, You could argue Raphael, Pedro or Nico being his buds, which is true but blues never really had a best friend to rely on in these movies. So I decided why not rewrite Roberto to be that best friend.

Yes, Jewel is Blu's wife and best friend too, but I'm talking like an ultimate Bromance + It would be a nice way to get people to actually like Roberto (me included)

Blu and Roberto being best friends would be such a cool thing to see for me personally that way Blu wouldn't be as paranoid of him trying to "steal" Jewel when that was never the case and was a result of Blu not fitting in to the Amazon.

Roberto being Blu's trainer would also help his character and Make him more likable, not to mention it would also give us less screentime with Eduardo + I I felt like it would be funny if Eduardo sent Roberto to make Blu not like the Amazon anymore and make him leave but then it ultimately backfire on him because they end up getting an Ultimate Bromance going on cause Blu to actually wanna stay for his family and adapt to the Amazon.
