Looking to start my AINS, but I’m a college student and have a tight budget so I can’t really afford the study materials provided by the institutes. I was wondering if there are any alternatives that are cheaper or free that I could use to study for the AINS exams?

I’ll be going to UCLA as a transfer for econ and I’m trying to figure out what I’m getting myself into.
I took econ 1 and 2 and calc at CC but it’s been over a year so I don’t remember much. I’m not trying to do IB or consulting or anything like that, I just want to graduate, keep a decent GPA, and focus more on internships (interested in insurance).
I keep hearing mixed things about the program. Some people say it’s not that bad if you stay on top of it, others say the weeder classes are brutal.
How hard are Econ 11 and 41 actually if you’re just trying to pass? Like if I’m willing to put in a couple hours a day, is it realistic to get by with C’s? Also is it more conceptually hard or is it just the curve/time pressure that makes it tough?
And once you get past those classes does it get easier or is the whole major like that?
Appreciate any honest advice, just trying to decide if I should stick it out or not.
